Share Your Faith

Here are several key ways to share your faith in High School.

  1. Make prayer for the lost a priority.

Pray daily for God to save souls and burden your heart for the lost. Ask Him to use you to share your faith.

  2. Every where you go you represent Christ.

Ask God to help you begin to live like he did, by being kind, loving well, and by not participating in things that will compromise your witness.

  3. Invite your friends to youth group or a campus Christian club.

Just by inviting someone to hang out with you at church or at a local club can go along way in making an impact in their life.

  4. Ask the Holy Spirit for opportunities to share your faith

You may be surprised by how easy sharing your faith can be if you are willing to speak up at the right time. Pray for God to use you then don’t force it, but keep your eyes open to share your story, pray for a friend or tell them about Jesus.

  5. Just share your story

New Christians minimize the importance of their own story. Many students think their story isn’t powerful or consequential enough to really make a difference. Nothing can be further from the truth. God will use your story and you won’t see this happen until you start opening your mouth.

  6. Look for the person no one else talks to

Want to really make a difference, go look for the person that is an outcast or everyone bullies. This is what Jesus did, right? He went to the least of these and made a massive impact. You may be surprised at the amazing people you meet by reaching out to those others discount.

  7. Just do something

You don’t have to say the right things; you don’t have to be in the right place; you don’t have to be perfect all the time; you can even fail miserably. But don’t let fear stop you from being bold. If God is good and hell is real, then doing something is essential!
